As a young girl growing up right here in Mount Holly, NC, Kasey Petersen was fortunate enough to be encouraged by a family friend to consider a profession as a dentist. After working at a dental practice for one summer, she was hooked and knew that dentistry was a perfect fit for her! Dr. Petersen graduated from Louisville School of Medicine on an Army Scholarship where she received her DMD (doctorate of dental medicine). Upon graduation, she was stationed for three years at Fort Eustis in Newport News, VA, and from there entered the private sector. Over the years, she has experienced many different styles of private practice as an associate, learning from many dentists, and determining just how she wanted to manage her own practice.
Dr. Petersen loves making connections with her patients, and teaching them that dental heath is an integral part of overall health. The best part of Dr. Petersen’s day is when a patient looks in the mirror and is happy with what they see! She can’t wait to welcome you to Wellspring Dental Studio!
